Job Description

The Operations Manager will be responsible for driving operational excellence across the site, ensuring that production, warehousing, and supply chain activities run efficiently and safely. You will play a key role in developing people, strengthening processes, and supporting the organisation through its next stage of growth.Key responsibilities include:

3. Leading day-to-day operations across production, planning, and logistics to meet business targets.
4. Implementing continuous improvement initiatives to optimise output, reduce waste, and enhance product quality.
5. Ensuring all activities fully comply with food safety, quality, and health & safety standards.
6. Managing and coaching a diverse operational team, building strong capability at all levels.
7. Collaborating closely with senior leadership on strategic projects, including capacity expansion and process upgrades.
8. Monitoring KPIs, analysing performance trends, and driving corrective actions where needed.
9. Building a culture of accountability, teamwork, and high performance.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal Operations Manager candidate will have:

10. Significant experience in a leadership role within food manufacturing, FMCG, or a similarly fast-paced environment.
11. Strong understanding of production processes, planning, and supply chain dynamics.
12. A proven track record of delivering operational improvements and embedding CI methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.).
13. Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder-management skills.
14. A hands-on, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to thrive in a dynamic growth environment.
15. Intermediate excel knowledge - Understandings of V-lookups, IF statements etc.
