Are you an experienced HLTA with a passion for supporting learning in Key Stage 1?Desian Education is seeking a skilled and motivated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to work in a vibrant and welcoming primary school in Anfield. About the Role:
As an HLTA, you’ll work closely with teaching staff to support learning across Key Stage 1, delivering planned lessons, interventions, and group work. You’ll help raise attainment and provide a nurturing environment for pupils to thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver planned lessons and activities in the absence of the teacher
* Lead small group interventions to support literacy and numeracy
* Support pupils with a range of abilities, including those with additional needs
* Collaborate with class teachers and SLT to support learning outcomes
* Monitor pupil progress and contribute to assessment and planning
Requirements:
* HLTA status or equivalent qualification
* Proven experience working in a primary school, ideally in KS1
* Strong classroom management and communication skills
* A patient, positive, and proactive attitude
* Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
