We're seeking a Kitchen Assistant to join our passionate team on a part-time basis (weekend availability is required). This role is more than preparing meals, it's about supporting the health, wellbeing and happiness of residents in a respectful, inclusive environment.
What You'll Be Doing Day to Day
* Preparing & serving nutritious meals with care, ensuring dietary needs and preferences are met.
* Maintaining high standards of hygiene and food safety in line with regulations.
* Assisting with kitchen organisation, stock, cleaning, setting up service areas.
* Working as part of our wider care team, collaborating with care staff to ensure meals support overall wellbeing and routines.
* Delivering kindness through food, creating a warm mealtime experience where residents feel valued and nourished.
Who You Are & What You Bring
You don't necessarily need formal experience, passion and dedication matter most. The right person will bring:
* A caring, respectful attitude and strong sense of responsibility.
* A willingness to learn, follow instructions and maintain consistency.
* A basic understanding of hygiene, food safety or willingness to train.
* Good communication skills and ability to work cooperatively.
