The successful candidate will be a well-qualified teacher of Chemistry to A Level and Biology to GCSE standard. They will have a real enthusiasm for both subjects and the ability to communicate a love of science to their pupils. An ability to contribute to Oxbridge preparation would be an advantage. They must be able to work well within a team and should be keen to make good use of ICT within lessons. We are seeking a person with vision, drive and sound judgement. Salary for this role will be in accordance with St Mary’s competitive salary scale.
Responsibilities
* Teach Chemistry to A Level and Biology to GCSE standard.
* Communicate a love of science to pupils and use ICT effectively in lessons.
* Contribute to Oxbridge preparation where appropriate.
* Work well within a team and demonstrate vision, drive and sound judgement.
Qualifications
* Well-qualified teacher of Chemistry to A Level and Biology to GCSE standard.
* Enthusiasm for both subjects and ability to communicate science effectively.
* Willingness to contribute to Oxbridge preparation (advantage).
