Summary
This is a really exciting time to join our Halfords Garage Services team. Supported by an Assistant Manager and Workshop Controller you’ll lead a team of around 11, with skilled technicians and customer services advisors to deliver a seamless service.
Compensation
* On-target earnings up to £53,000
* Comprising a base salary of £42,000
* An uncapped monthly bonus scheme with average additional earnings of £11,000 per year
* 5 days a week

Responsibilities
To be a success in this role you will:
* Deliver excellence through high quality standards and results across your centre
* Optimise workforce scheduling, ensuring maximum capacity to meet customer demand
* Analyse customer metrics and centre performance data to lead your team to exceed sales margin and profit targets
Qualifications
* Experience of exceeding customer metric targets through effective management
* Experience of delivering coaching/training to colleagues in real‑time situations
* Management experience, including managing capability and performance
* Experience of developing colleagues through technical training
* A track record of success in delivering against sales targets
* Experience of meeting compliance standards across Health and Safety and quality
* Excellent communication skills, verbally and in writing
* Experience of labour force scheduling with proven time‑management skills
* IT proficiency, experience of using Microsoft packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and aptitude to learn in‑house systems
* A current full valid driving licence
