Job Summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic individual to play a key role in shaping improvement and development across Gastroenterology and Endoscopy Departments within Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board.
The post holder will have delegated responsibilities for a range of operational activities, working autonomously whilst driving decisions based on experience and specialist knowledge. This role will involve the analysis of complex data and monitoring of performance - with early identification of any variances and the development of robust and credible action plans.
This post will be critical in supporting the Senior Manager to ensure all services are delivered safely and effectively, in line with Ministerial targets, and using evidence based approaches.
This post is fixed term/secondment for 18 months to cover a secondment. If you are interested in applying for it as a secondment, please obtain permission from your current line manager prior to applying.

Person Specification
Education and Knowledge – Essential
* Educated to Degree Level in relevant subject, plus Master’s Degree in relevant subject (or equivalent).
Education and Knowledge – Desirable
* Project Management qualification or equivalent level of training or knowledge (e.g. Process Improvement / Lean / Six Sigma)
Experience and Skills – Essential
* Experience of translating complex information and presenting it in a range of formats.
* Ability to influence, negotiate with, and motivate senior managers and clinicians to assist in the development of forward‑thinking and joint working.
* Able to prioritise, solve problems and make decisions effectively, and who can also delegate to others as appropriate.
Experience and Skills – Desirable
* Welsh Language Skills (Level 3 and above/B1) are desirable for this role.
