As a driver, you will deliver our customer orders directly to farms, accurately and on time. You will build strong relationships between departments and with customers to resolve queries where possible. You will champion safe working practices and eco-driving.
Purpose of the Job
1. LGV Driving: Meet all legal requirements. Consideration for other road users and the public. Complete tachograph records, manual entries, and defect reports accurately. Operate vehicles within speed and weight limits.
2. Feed Delivery: Safely work on customer farms. Ensure correct bins for feed and UFAS compliance. Prioritize safety of farm employees and stock. Avoid damage to property.
3. Paperwork: Complete all delivery records, cleaning records, defect reports, etc., accurately and on time.
4. Health & Safety: Fully comply with company and customer health and safety policies.
5. Environment: Adhere to site IPPC rules, comply with company environment policies, and assist in improving the site EMS.
Skills Required
* Qualifications: LGV C or C+E license (minimum C).
* Ownership of a digital Tachograph Card.
* Driver Certificate of Professional Competency.
* Experience driving LGVs regularly.
* Ability to comply with legislation.
* Demonstrate professionalism at all times.
