Position: Electronics Engineer Location: Bradford Salary: Up to £70,000 Benefits Are you an experienced Electronics Engineer looking to take full ownership of cutting-edge product designs? Our client is seeking a Senior Electronics Engineer to join our highly skilled, multi-disciplinary team in the Bradford area developing the next generation of wireless communication products. As a senior member of our engineering team, you'll take full responsibility for all electronics design aspects, ensuring that every design meets stringent performance, reliability, and production requirements. You'll be involved throughout the entire product lifecycle - from concept and prototype development through to production handover - supporting new products as they move into medium-volume offshore manufacturing. Key Responsibilities Lead high-speed digital hardware design, including embedded processor systems, FPGAs, and communications interfaces Design and develop analogue electronics and power supplies (switch mode and linear up to 100 W) Perform PCB schematic capture and layout, including component library management Ensure all designs meet EMC compliance and performance standards Produce thorough design documentation to support efficient new product introduction (NPI) Collaborate closely with RF, firmware, and mechanical engineering teams throughout development and production phases Required Attributes Proven experience with PCB design tools (Altium Designer and/or PADS Logic/Layout preferred) Excellent understanding of differential and impedance-matched interconnect design Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills Ability to work both independently and within a collaborative team environment High attention to detail, creativity, and strong problem-solving capability Desirable Attributes Experience in mobile networks, defence, or other high-reliability industries Familiarity with embedded software or FPGA firmware design Knowledge or experience in RF electronics design Experience and Qualifications Degree in Electronic Engineering or a related discipline 5 years professional experience in electronics design Proven record of delivering products within multi-disciplinary development teams Excellent communication skills, including fluency in English British citizenship with SC-level security clearance, or the ability to obtain clearance Why Apply Work on cutting-edge product development within a supportive, expert team Be part of a company that values innovation, quality, and collaboration Enjoy a friendly, flexible working environment in the heart of Saltaire Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package Apply today with an up to date CV for immediate consideration.
