Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrician Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment in our facility. This role requires a professional approach, innovative problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety and efficiency.
* Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and components
* Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical installations
* Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues using appropriate testing equipment
* Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation
* Ensure compliance with local electrical codes, safety standards, and company policies
* Collaborate with other technicians and departments to resolve complex electrical problems
* Respond promptly to electrical emergencies and power outages
* Implement energy-efficient solutions and recommend improvements to existing systems
* Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inventory
* Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with industry trends and technologies
Qualifications
* Proven experience as an Electrician Technician in industrial or commercial settings
* In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, and safety standards
* Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and blueprints
* Strong skills in using electrical tools and testing equipment
* Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
* Familiarity with local electrical codes and regulations
* Knowledge of energy-efficient electrical systems and technologies
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Physical stamina and ability to work in various environmental conditions
* Valid electrician license or certification
* Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting
* Flexibility to work in shifts and respond to emergency calls when needed
* Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development in the electrical field
