We are looking for a highly technical developer who is deeply familiar with OpenClaw to support members inside a fast-growing paid community.
This is not a generic support role. You must understand:
* Local OpenClaw installations (Mac, Windows, Linux)
* VPS deployments (Ubuntu, cloud providers, SSH)
* Config files and agent setup
* API integrations (Google, email, etc.)
* Troubleshooting environment issues
* Security and best practices
You will be the go-to technical resource helping community members unblock issues quickly and confidently.
We will begin at 20 hours per week with the opportunity to ramp to 40+ hours per week as the community grows.
Responsibilities
1. Community Technical Support
* Help members troubleshoot local OpenClaw installs
* Debug VPS deployment issues
* Assist with config file problems )
* Diagnose agent misconfiguration issues
* Help with Google integrations (email, calendar, drive)
* Identify security risks or poor setup practices
2. Documentation & Walkthrough Creation
* Create step-by-step guides for common issues
* Record written walkthroughs for new use cases
* Improve existing Google Docs training materials
* Document common troubleshooting patterns
* Build best-practice SOPs
3. Task Tracking & Reporting
* Log every member issue in a shared Google Sheet
* Track:
* Member name
* Issue type
* Environment (Mac, Windows, VPS, etc.)
* Resolution
* Time spent
* Provide daily Slack updates summarizing:
* Active frustrated members
* Repeated issues
* Suggested improvements
* Bugs or patterns we should fix in training
4. Proactive Improvement
When not actively helping members:
* Improve documentation
* Suggest product improvements
* Help refine troubleshooting frameworks
* Identify recurring setup friction points
Required Experience
You must have:
* Hands-on experience installing and configuring OpenClaw
* Experience deploying OpenClaw on a VPS (Ubuntu preferred)
* Strong understanding of:
* SSH
* Linux servers
* API keys and environment variables
* Google OAuth setup
* JSON configuration files
* Experience debugging local development environments
* Strong written communication skills
Bonus:
* Experience running AI agents locally
* Experience working inside paid communities
* Experience writing technical documentation
* Familiarity with Git, Node environments, and CLI workflows
Working Hours
* Primarily US working hours
* Start at 20 hours per week
* Ramp to 40+ hours per week as needed
