Responsibilities
* To lecture and conduct both theoretical and practical sessions in dog grooming, primarily to Further Education (FE) students at Level 3.
* To take responsibility for managing a cohort of full-time learners.
* To support the delivery and development of GCSE, Functional Skills, and Key Skills, ensuring student success through preparation for exams, portfolio completion, and practical assessment.
* To follow Writtle College administrative protocols to maintain accurate training and assessment records.
* To contribute to the planning and ongoing development of dog grooming courses and programs.
* To play an active role in student recruitment and in promoting the visibility and reputation of dog grooming education at Writtle College.
* To regularly participate in technical training and maintain up-to-date records of continuing professional development in line with CPD expectations.
Qualifications
* Level 2 GCSE English and Maths or equivalent, or two A levels or vocational qualification at NVQ level 3 or equivalent in a Dog Grooming qualification.
* Appropriate endorsed teaching qualification (or willingness to commence studies within 1 year of employment).
