Recruitment Advisor An Ofsted‑rated “Good” College in Northamptonshire Salary: £31,000 – £35,000 per annum About the role Are you passionate about connecting talent with opportunity? We are seeking a dynamic Recruitment Advisor to join a forward‑thinking Further Education college in Northamptonshire. In this role, you will lead on recruitment activity across the College, supporting hiring managers to attract, assess and onboard high‑quality candidates. You’ll help raise the profile of the College as an employer of choice and ensure all recruitment practices are in line with current legislation and best practice. Key responsibilities Collaborate with hiring managers to plan and deliver effective recruitment campaigns Create engaging adverts and promote roles across a wide range of media and platforms Manage the recruitment process from start to finish, including interviews and onboarding Ensure compliance with safer recruitment practices and employment law Promote the College brand and support talent attraction strategies through events and partnerships Maintain recruitment KPIs and ensure data accuracy in all reporting and system updates What we’re looking for Experience in a recruitment role with a strong grasp of employment law and safer recruitment practices Skilled in stakeholder engagement and confident advising hiring managers Familiar with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and social media sourcing Desirable: Degree educated or CIPD Level 5 qualified or working towards A motivated team player with excellent communication and organisational skills What we offer Competitive salary of £31,000–£35,000 per annum 33 days’ annual leave including bank holidays (plus 5 College closure days) Local Government Pension Scheme with 20% employer contribution Enhanced maternity/paternity leave Discounted on-site gym and nursery (subject to availability) Free on-site parking and cycle-to-work scheme Access to high street discounts, wellbeing support, and subsidised catering Why join?
