Salary Range: Grade 2, SCP 4-5 £25,185 - £25,583 FTE (£14,225 - £14,450 pro rota)
Salary amounts quoted are from the 1 September to 31 August and therefore if you commence employment part way through the academic year they are subject to an equated salary adjustment
Working Type: Part Time 22.5 Hours per week, (41 working weeks, 48.299 paid weeks). (Days to be worked will be Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday)
Base: Hilton Primary Academy, Hilton Avenue, Blakelaw, Newcastle, NE5 3RN
Please note: the post holder will be engaging in regulated activity, working mainly or wholly with children. This position is exempt from the rehabilitation of offender’s act 1974. It is an offence to apply for this role if you are barred from engaging in regulated activity relevant to children.

About the role
We are looking for a friendly, organised, and confident Administrator/Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our busy primary school. In this key front-office role, you will greet pupils, parents, and visitors with warmth, provide efficient administrative support to staff, manage enquiries, and help ensure the smooth daily running of the school. The ideal candidate will be calm under pressure, able to multitask, and committed to maintaining a positive, professional environment that reflects our school’s values. The successful candidate will be required to work 3 days per week (Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday) each week.
