SDC Antrim is currently seeking a Maintenance Technician to support their busy production operation.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment to ensure high operational standards including welding rectifiers, wire feed units, robots, assembly jigs, laser cutting machines
* Provide reactive maintenance to plant equipment as needed i.e. Troubleshooting and repair of machinery in the factory
* Fabrication of equipment upgrades
* Receive support tickets for breakdowns and see them through to completion
* Ordering of spares
* Stock taking of spares
* Communicate with colleagues, external contractors and suppliers to ensure plant equipment uptime
* Respond to breakdowns promptly to minimize downtime
* Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure all documentation is up to date
Essential Criteria
* Good knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, electric, and mechanical systems
* Ability to read and understand technical drawings
* To be able to Work at heights
* Previous experience in a similar role
* A team player with the ability to work independently
* Strong attention to detail
* Health and safety awareness
Hours Of Work
07.00 to 16.00 Mon-Thurs
07.00 to 13.00 Fri
No weekends
