Our mission is clear: to provide positive and stable family environments for the children and young people placed with our carers, ensuring they thrive emotionally and academically.
We understand that many children in our care have faced disrupted childhoods. Our goal is to break this cycle by carefully matching the right foster parents with the right children, providing unwavering support and guidance every step of the way.
What We’re Looking For
We are on the hunt for a qualified and experienced Social Worker who is enthusiastic and committed to the role of foster parents. If you appreciate the importance of collaboration and have a passion for making a difference, we want to hear from you!
Key Requirements:
* Hold a Social Care England recognized qualification in Social Work or equivalent
* Previous experience in children and families social work
* Comprehensive knowledge of relevant legislation pertaining to children's services
* Good IT skills
* Flexibility in working patterns and travel
Your Responsibilities
* Provide direct support to foster parents with a manageable caseload for effective supervision
* Conduct regular supervision sessions, monitoring practice and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
* Collaborate with children, young people, foster parents, and other professionals to facilitate participation in assessments, planning, and decision-making related to safeguarding and child protection
As part of our team, you will play a vital role in maintaining high standards and providing training to both prospective and current foster parents. Excellent report writing skills and the ability to meet strict deadlines are essential.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people, and vulnerable adults. All staff are expected to share this commitment.
