Up to £46,000 per annum depending on experience, plus on-call benefits

As a Biomedical Scientist at our Oxford Hospital, you’ll bring relevant qualifications and laboratory experience in multidisciplinary biomedical science. You should have a good working knowledge of different analytical equipment and techniques. You’re also a natural communicator and team player, sharing our commitment to quality.
As a Biomedical Scientist, you will:
* Deliver high-quality pathology services
* Cover the out-of-hours on-call service as required
* Perform biomedical diagnostic testing, interpretation, reporting, and quality control
* Maintain records of specimens, results, reagents, and consumables
* Support validation and assessment of new equipment and diagnostic procedures
* Support the delivery of the best patient experience
* Lead the Blood Transfusion Pathology Service and support clinical teams
* Develop and maintain the department’s Quality Management System
