Senior Technical Sales & Estimating Engineer
Location: Rochdale, UK. Full‑time. On‑site; hybrid/remote considered for the right experience.
Responsibilities
* Interpret customer drawings with a manufacturability‑first mindset.
* Build robust, defensible cost and lead‑time estimates.
* Support technical customer discussions where experience and credibility matter.
* Identify and propose design alternatives to improve feasibility, cost, or delivery.
* Collaborate closely with production, engineering, sales, and suppliers.
Qualifications
* Practical experience in spring manufacturing, wire forming, or precision metal components.
* Comfortable explaining trade‑offs, constraints, and options to both engineers and commercial teams.
* Value clarity, accuracy, and long‑term customer relationships.
* Enjoy being trusted to make technical calls that materially impact outcomes.
