1. Support project team throughout project life cycles from early stage to close out
2. Ensure Target pricing is developed sufficiently and effectively between Client & Scottish Water while maintaining key milestones
3. Review full estimating handover package ensuring all information is extensively reviewed and estimate fully detailed to meet Client / Scottish Water standards
4. Requirement to engage supply chain for project enquiries, reviewing returned tender submissions
5. Ensure all projects are submitted in line with framework and NEC contract
6. Ensure collaboration with each, Client support function throughout project life cycle ensuring all project specifics are captured
7. Present estimating proposed figures to management for final approval noting anyments and required adjustments
What you'll need to succeed :Essential Skills and Knowledge requirements:
8. Do you have experience within the water industry?
9. Can you demonstrate experience within an estimating function?
10. Have you provable experience working in Civil engineering/Utilities?
11. Strong contract knowledge (NEC) experience is desired.
12. Good IT skills, particularly Excel, programming and other estimating software.
13. You will need the ability to work to tight deadlines.
14. Can you demonstrate excellentmunication and negotiation skills, with the ability tomunicate effectively and work with staff at all levels?
15. Do you have the ability and desire to identify opportunities for improvement, and influence change?
