As a Customer Team Leader, you will lead a small team in a fast‑paced Co‑op store, delivering essential services to your community. Your day may involve supporting the post office, bakery, online services, or home‑delivery drivers, and you will play a key role in making life easier for our customers.
Responsibilities
* Own the day‑to‑day running of the store and lead the team on your shift
* Motivate, coach, and support team members to deliver excellent service and efficient operations
* Work hands‑on on the shop floor and tills, setting the pace for Customer Team Members
* Support store performance through merchandising, stock accuracy, and HR processes
* Champion Co‑op through community engagement and membership growth
* Assist the Store Manager and ensure the store is kept safe and well‑stocked
Qualifications
* Strong passion for people and leadership
* Ability to work flexibly and lead by example
* Skills in retail, merchandising, or team management (experience not essential)
* Commercial awareness and a strong sense of community
