Job Title: HLTA (Higher Level Teaching Assistant)
Location: Milton Keynes
Rate: £110-£130 per day (dependent on experience)
Start Date: September 2025
Hours: Term time only
Are you a qualified HLTA ready to step into a fulfilling role in a supportive primary school environment? A fantastic school in Milton Keynes is seeking a confident and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2025.
This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who's ready to take on more responsibility in the classroom, support pupils across a range of abilities, and make a real impact every single day.
This role is perfect for someone who:
* Holds a recognised HLTA qualification (essential)
* Has strong experience working in a UK primary school
* Is confident delivering lessons and supporting learning across year groups
* Thrives in a fast-paced, inclusive learning environment
* Is passionate about helping all pupils succeed, including those with SEN
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver lessons in the absence of the class teacher
* Provide targeted support to individuals and small groups
* Support the learning of pupils with diverse needs, including SEN
* Work closely with teaching staff to enhance pupil outcomes
* Contribute to a positive and engaging classroom environment
Key Requirements:
* HLTA qualification (essential)
* Proven experience working within a UK primary school setting
* Excellent behaviour management and communication skills
* A proactive and flexible approach to supporting learning
* A good understanding of SEN and inclusive education practices
