I am delighted to working with a market leader on their search for a newly created management accountant. You will be reporting into a high performing Financial Controller. Day to day duties will include: Preparation of monthly management accounts for various groups, ensuring deadlines are met. Maintenance of accurate profit and loss reporting to reflect business performance, alongside balance sheets that present a true financial position. Production of KPI reports and other management information each month, accompanied by clear narrative and analysis. Completion of monthly balance sheet reconciliations, with transparent explanation of reconciling items. Provision of variance analysis and commentary on financial trends to support management decision‑making. Identification and escalation of potential financial and operational risks to senior stakeholders. Contribution to budgeting and forecasting processes. working with senior stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be: Part qualified/finalist/newly qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA Proven experience producing monthly management accounts and reporting packs Solid background in budgeting, forecasting and performance tracking Experience leading or supporting year-end audits Advanced Excel skills Experience using BI tools (desirable) Proven ability to influence at senior level
