Overview
NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK employing around 40,000 staff in a wide range of clinical and non‑clinical professions and job roles. We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health care services to a population of over 1.15 million and a wider population of 2.2 million when our regional and national services are included. Please note the salary is pro‑rata for part‑time hours. This is a great opportunity to provide senior clinical input to one of six NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde locality teams, with the local services ranging from Community Alcohol and Drug Teams through to specialist day and inpatient care.
Responsibilities
You will participate in all aspects of patient care and multidisciplinary meetings, providing consultant leadership and expertise in supporting residents with problem substance‑use and comorbid mental‑health problems.
Qualifications
Full registration with the GMC, MRCPsych or FRCPsych or equivalent and a CCST are essential.
