You may also have been at the frontline implementing these solutions with users and providing training and documentation to help with adoption. As a SharePoint Specialist, you will need to use your experience and skills to standardise multiple SharePoint environments across a variety of industries aligned with optimal practices. You’ll be the point of contact and escalation point for SharePoint and responsible for setting the standards around SharePoint Management. You must have experience and exposure to Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online and some understanding of Microsoft Azure and automation. You should feel comfortable being on site with customers and communicating at a medium to high level with senior people. The SharePoint Speciality role is pivotal in advancing customers’ systems and implementing industry leading solutions. Duties and Responsibilities SharePoint Design and site structure including Intranet pages and Document Libraries. Building Sites, Hub Sites, Document Libraries. Standardising permissions and group-based access. Assisting with External site access and security. Problem solving with Unique Permissions, Inheritance Structures and redesigns. SharePoint migrations from either server-based or cloud-based systems (e.g. Dropbox). Documentation, training and guidance for end-users and colleagues. Basic understanding of Project Management using tools such as Monday.com. Ownership of small automation projects associated with SharePoint (e.g. Power Platform.) Technical assistance to the support desk around SharePoint. Required Experience/Skills Systems/Software SharePoint Online Microsoft 365 Power Platform Microsoft Teams com / Project Management Tools Experience 5 Years in administering SharePoint Online in previous roles. Forward thinking focus coupled with the ability to see the bigger picture. Good communicator and the ability to understand what the customers are trying to achieve. An interest in technology and innovation and the latest products and solutions from vendors. Diligent and strong eye for detail but able to summarise simply.
