A globally recognised fashion and performance lifestyle business is looking to appoint a Demand Planner to join its growing European planning function. With a strong international footprint and product sold across wholesale, digital, marketplace and event channels, this role plays a key part in ensuring demand is accurately forecasted and supply is aligned to support continued commercial growth.
Working at the centre of the planning operation, you will take ownership of demand forecasting and inventory planning across a key product category. You’ll work closely with teams across Sales, Product, eCommerce and Supply Chain to translate commercial insight into accurate forecasts, maintain strong stock availability and support smooth product flow across all channels. The role will also contribute to trading analysis, stock optimisation and forward planning to ensure the business is well positioned to meet demand while protecting margin.
This is an opportunity to take real ownership within a fast-moving environment, supporting the performance of either the Footwear or Apparel category, depending on experience and interest.
Key responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts across multiple sales channels
* Analyse trading performance and demand trends to refine forecasting assumptions
* Work closely with Sales and Commercial teams to align forecasts with market activity
* Support inventory planning to maintain strong availability across core and seasonal lines
* Monitor stock levels and identify opportunities to optimise inventory utilisation
* Partner with Supply Chain to ensure timely inbound product flow and minimise risk
* Provide regular reporting and insights to support commercial decision making
* Collaborate with international planning teams to ensure alignment on demand and supply plans
About you:
* Experience in a Demand Planning, Merchandise Planning or Supply Chain planning role
* Experience working within fashion, apparel, footwear or a similar consumer-led product environment
* Strong analytical capability with advanced Excel skills
* Comfortable working with large data sets and forecasting tools
* Commercially aware with the ability to translate data into clear insights
