The Role:
An exciting opportunity for a Non-Contentious Construction Associate (2+ years PQE) to join a busy construction team in Exeter. The successful candidate will work on international, national, and regional matters, focusing on non-contentious construction and infrastructure work.
This role involves advising on residential and commercial developments, renewable energy projects, urban regeneration schemes, financing arrangements, joint ventures, operation/maintenance/service contracts, and facilities management. Responsibilities include drafting and negotiating contracts such as NEC, JCT, FIDIC, and bespoke agreements.

The Ideal Candidate:
* Non-Contentious Construction Associate (2+ years PQE)
* Experience in construction or infrastructure law, including risk reviews, drafting, and negotiating contracts (NEC, JCT, FIDIC)
* Ability to handle complex transactions and provide practical, commercially-focused advice
* Experience advising clients directly and managing larger, complex matters
* A team player who enjoys collaboration and support
* Ambitious, self-motivated, eager to learn in construction and infrastructure law
* Strong relationship-building skills and interest in industry developments
