We’re looking for a Production Controller to join our dynamic team in Milton Keynes. This is a 24/7 shift-based role at the heart of our Playout operations, ensuring seamless delivery of live sports content across multiple platforms for SIS and our clients. As a Production Controller, you’ll be the key decision-maker during live broadcasts—making split-second calls that directly impact service output. You’ll manage multi-service playouts, troubleshoot technical issues, and maintain continuity of service in a high-profile, customer-focused environment. What You’ll Do Oversee automated transmission systems and ensure quality across multiple live services. Direct and influence output in line with production guidelines. Manage transmission schedules with precision and accuracy. Act as the central communication point for data and feed information. Operate replay systems, manage archives, and deliver racing footage. Troubleshoot technical issues and coordinate with internal teams for swift resolution. Uphold OFCOM regulations and SIS values at all times. What We’re Looking For Experience: Live broadcast environment and multi-service playout operations. Technical Knowledge: End-to-end broadcast chain, IT and broadcast equipment, audio/video troubleshooting. Skills: Calm under pressure, excellent attention to detail, strong communication, and ability to work autonomously. Bonus: Interest in sports broadcasting—knowledge of horse and dog racing is a plus!
