About The Role:
Days of Working: Variable across the week.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the Front of House catering services to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
* Assist in creating and planning daily menus that are innovative, cost-effective, and meet dietary requirements.
* Monitor food and beverage quality, ensure portion control, and maintain presentation standards.
* Lead and supervise the Front of House catering team, including training and performance management.
* Provide excellent customer service by addressing client needs and resolving issues promptly.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintain hygiene standards, and keep records.
* Order supplies, manage stock levels, and conduct inventory checks.
* Help control costs to ensure the financial viability of the catering service.
What We Are Looking For:
* Previous experience in a similar role within the Contract Catering industry.
* Relevant qualifications, knowledge of food hygiene, and health and safety standards.
* Proven leadership and team supervision experience.
* High standards, well-organized management skills.
* Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
The Ideal Candidate Should Meet the Following Criteria:
* Right to work in the UK.
* Ability to lead and manage teams effectively.
* Practical problem-solving skills.
* Outstanding communication skills (verbal and written).
* Good time management and organizational abilities.
* Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
* Food hygiene certificate (Level 2) is advantageous but not mandatory.
Hiring Criteria:
* Leadership and team management skills.
* Understanding of financial management, budgeting, and cost control.
