THE JOB We're looking for a proactive, professional and enthusiastic advisor who will Organise the warehouse and yard, including displays, plus the arrivals and dispatching of goods, and delivering goods to our customers covering the following key areas: Actively support other team members to ensure targets and tasks are completed. Deliver good working relationships with all team members. Promote the business and working to a required standard. Follow company procedures to complete tasks without assistance. Work to get routine daily tasks done in time and to the standard required. Follow through customer enquiries, requests and problems and deals with them promptly. Confidently deal with customer problems and asking pertinent questions to establish customer needs. Remain aware of the risks in the work environment and their potential impact on self, colleagues, customers and visitors and taking action to address them. Active take part in training and maintain and develop relevant knowledge and skills. Ensure any deliveries required on the van are done in a timely and professional manner. Keep the yard and warehouse tidy and presentable with stock rotation. Adhere to Company and Group policies and procedures, including but not limited to those relating to Safety, Health and Environmental. Ensure all relevant legislation and approved codes of practice, are adhered to in respect of ongoing compliance, including but not limited to UFAS, FIAS, & NOPS assurance schemes. SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALITIES REQUIRED Essential Team player, with a genuine interest in helping others. Continuously looking to improve the yard areas and displays. (Essential) Full UK drivers license so able to do Van deliveries to customers. (You MUST present your driver's licence, and pass a driving assessment at interview) Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to liaise between a number of departments. Exceptional customer service skills as dealing with many internal and external customers. Holds a CPC Driving License. Holds a tachograph card. Desirable Forklift Truck and Telehandler Driver with experience in actively loading and unloading vehicles. (Desirable, though training will be given to the successful candidate) Agricultural knowledge.
