PM Transport Supervisor Responsibilities Daily satisfaction of all customer transport requirements. Serving as a key management liaison for customer interactions. Optimising the coordination of internal fleet and sub-contractors for maximum cost-effectiveness. Leading day-to-day driver management, focusing on team development, training, and operational efficiency. Strategic management of suppliers (sub-contractors, agencies, maintenance) to control operational spend. Ensuring peak reliability and presentation through regular driver, vehicle, and trailer checks. Guaranteeing full adherence to all company internal processes, procedures, and O-License legislative demands. Compiling and presenting weekly management information reports. PM Transport Supervisor - Requirements Previous experience supervising in transport operations. Strong organisational and planning capabilities. A track record of responsible, ethical, and honest conduct. A solid understanding of current UK transport operations and legislation. Management CPC or a clear commitment to obtaining this qualification (Highly desirable) Ideally, practical experience with O-Licence compliance. (Highly Desirable) Strong IT proficiency, including familiarity with fleet and transport management software. A true team player who can inspire and foster a strong team culture.
