I am working with a well established home and DIY retailer who is seeking a Merchandiser to join its team on a full time basis in Wimbledon. Role: Merchandiser Type: Full Time, Permanent Location: Wimbledon (on site) Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 Key responsibilities for the Merchandiser will include and will not be limited to: Managing a category's financial performance, including budget, margin and profit. Reviewing daily sales and recommending promotions or markdowns to maximise profit and reduce clearance. Working closely with Buyers to plan ranges using sales data and trends. Managing Open to Buy (OTB) to maintain the right stock levels across stores and online. Overseeing stock flow through Distribution Centres to ensure availability and reduce slow moving stock. Building strong working relationships with suppliers. Working collaboratively with teams across supply chain, distribution and retail operations.
