The Brokerage service works closely with social work teams, providers, and commissioning colleagues to support timely placements, manage system pressures, and uphold statutory duties across Cambridgeshire.In this role, you will carry out person‑centred brokerage activity, implementing agreed processes to source and coordinate care and support that meets individual needs while managing risk, cost, and quality. You will work within clearly defined procedures, ensuring placements are made safely and efficiently, records are accurate, and issues are identified and escalated appropriately. By resolving the majority of queries at first point of contact, monitoring your own compliance, and contributing to continuous improvement of brokerage processes, the Brokerage Officer helps reduce delays, maintain service flow, protect public funds, and improve experiences for people using services. Your work supports consistent practice across the service and enables the organisation to respond effectively to demand while maintaining high standards of quality and accountability.We have two full-time, permanent roles, and one role that is 30 hours per week and fixed term for two years.For more information or to chat about this opportunity please contact Gurdev Singh gurdev.singh@cambridgeshire.gov.uk.Appointment to this post will be subject to the outcome of an Standard Disclosure obtained through the Disclosure and Barring Service.
