Following an outstanding year in 2025,we are looking for a Duty Manager to help oversee the daily operationsof The Fife Arms—our multi-award-winning, 5-star hotel located in the stunningvillage of Braemar, deep in the Cairngorms National Park.

In this pivotal role, you’ll supportthe General Manager and Deputy General Manager in leading day-to-dayoperations, ensuring our guests receive a warm welcome, seamless service, and atruly memorable stay. You’ll be visible, approachable, and ready to lead byexample—fostering strong relationships across departments and enhancing ourexceptional standards.
Your Role as Duty Manager
* Ensure smooth daily hotel operations,maintaining the highest guest service standards expected of a luxury property
* Respond promptly and professionally toguest enquiries, feedback, and any concerns
* Monitor reservations, occupancy, andkey revenue performance indicators
* Work collaboratively with alldepartments to maintain cleanliness, safety, and service quality
* Ensure full compliance with hotelpolicies and legal regulations
* Serve as the point of contact for VIPguests and support the coordination of special events
* Handle any emergencies or unexpectedsituations with calm, confident leadership
What We’re Looking For
* Solid experience in a luxuryhospitality setting – experience with LQA or Forbes is an asset
* Strong communication skills and theability to remain composed in a fast-paced environment
* Proactive, hands-on leadership stylewith an eye for detail and quality
* Enthusiasm for learning and continuousimprovement
* A good understanding of Health &Safety and COSHH practices
* UK work eligibility (unfortunately, weare unable to offer visa sponsorship for this role)
