Position Summary


The principle responsibilities are running the payroll function, ensuring accurate and timely payment of employees within the EMEA group.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities


1. Ensure accurate and timely payment of employees within the EMEA region
2. First point of contact with Payroll vendors EMEA for those countries directly responsible for
3. Maintain Payroll mailbox for communication with external payroll providers and HR teams and employee queries
4. Close co-operation with EMEA Payroll Manager to assist where required and with Local finance
5. Responsible for reviewing new hire entries, master file changes from myHR, and reconciling payroll files from payroll vendors as well as auditing the payroll system data to the corporate system of record
6. Partner with colleagues to assist with payroll processes, cycles, and projects with HRBP’s, business leaders, Global/Regional Finance, and other stakeholders, to ensure smooth delivery of the payroll processes, cycles & projects
7. Assist with monthly fluxes and provide detailed support to the international accounting team
8. Assist with research projects and preparation of management reports as needed
9. Ensure operational and SOX controls are properly performed within the payroll process
10. Answer audit queries concerning payroll and payroll controls as required

Knowledge and Skills


11. Experience within a payroll processing function
12. International payroll experience an advantage
13. Possess a working knowledge of international payroll-related requirements and regulations
14. Maintain confidentiality in all assignments and in all information obtained
15. Ability to organise and prioritise work to meet deadlines
16. High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
17. Good working knowledge of Excel
18. Knowledge of international payroll vendor(s) software/processes
19. Experience with ADP Streamline software would be advantageous
20. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact at all levels of the organisation both internally and externally
21. Fluent English, any other language will be an asset
