We have an opportunity for an experienced IT support Engineer to join our dynamic team in Nottingham .
Shifts of 40 hours per week between the hours of 08:00 & 18:00 Monday- Friday
This is a varied role, with a focus on infrastructure project work and new hardware installations, whilst also providing ongoing MSP client support.
Time in this role is split between visiting customer sites (mainly in Nottinghamshire) and also project preparation and remote support based in our office.
Main duties:
Plan and deliver new technologies, migrations and upgrades to existing infrastructure at customers premises throughout the East Midlands - including Microsoft office 365, cloud services, Microsoft and Apple hardware and network infrastructure.
Provide proactive technical support across a varied customer base - onsite and also via the telephone and remote access from our office.
Provide 2 nd level support and assistance to other members of the technical team.

Essential/Desirable experience and skills
A full UK manual driving licence is essential as the role includes regular travel within the region, mainly within Nottingham.
It is essential have experience as a site engineer, including server and network infrastructure. A minimum of 2 years experience is desirable .
It is essential to have professional experience with Microsoft technologies, Windows server, Active Directory, Exchange, Office 365, Sharepoint, Hyper V virtualisation, Azure AD, Powershell, networking, Managed Services, mobile device configuration.
It is essential to have 2nd line experience in a multi-client MSP environment or similar environment.
It is desirable to have a recognised industry qualification such as Microsoft, Comptia, Apple certification.
You would also.
Have suitable knowledge and experience to provide technical solutions and recommendations to customers.
Have a working knowledge of Information Security and Data protection.
Be able to manage projects and work independently
Have a genuine interest in technology and a passion for problem solving.
Build strong relationships and deliver a consistently high level of customer service in line with the Companys standards and customer SLAs.
Be good at using own initiative and taking ownership of situations.
Be a good communicator and listener.
Be self-motivated and disciplined.
Able to work on your own and part of a close team.
Have excellent English communication skills (written & verbal) and ability write project documentation and comprehensive notes as well as input data accurately.
