As a Deputy Home Manager, you'll ensure our clinical care exceeds professional standards, statutory, regulatory, and legal requirements. This includes providing specialist nursing support and advice, taking responsibility for resident care in the Home Manager's absence, and supervising colleagues to deliver empathetic, resident-centered care.
HC-One seeks a Deputy Home Manager with a valid NMC Pin, knowledge of National Standards, and familiarity with the NMC code of practice. A background in person-centered care planning within a care home is essential. We value your positive energy, ability to mentor, manage time effectively, and maintain meaningful records. Your communication style should be considerate and kind, fostering a supportive environment.
Valuing kindness is fundamental, as it underpins our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Our staff recognize that residents are individuals with their own stories. Joining HC-One offers a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You should be able to recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect, and know how to respond appropriately. All colleagues must attend safeguarding training suited to their role and pursue additional training as needed. You should feel confident in seeking advice and escalating concerns if necessary.
About HC-One: We believe kindness is more than words; it’s a core value. We support each other in demonstrating five key qualities — curiosity, compassion, creativity, courage, and inclusivity — which define the HC-One Way. Our diverse workforce enables us to better serve our communities, and we are committed to professional development through career pathways, CPD, and postgraduate programs. HC-One invests in your growth, offering opportunities to progress into regional and national roles.
