£250 PAYE / £290 Umbrella LTD (Inside IR35) • 36 hours per week • 3-6 month contract
A Central London Housing Association is looking for a Building Surveyor to support the delivery of both planned and reactive works programmes. You will provide professional building consultancy services across a mixed-tenure property portfolio, ensuring value for money, compliance, and high standards of customer service.
Responsibilities
* Carry out full building surveys, reports, and cost analyses.
* Manage works programmes and oversee responsive repairs to support planned maintenance.
* Project manage disrepair cases and void works in line with compliance and contract standards.
* Conduct post-inspections and assure contractor performance against KPIs.
* Provide technical advice on major repairs, FRA, EPCs, and cyclical programmes.
* Support colleagues in delivering excellent surveying services and share best practice.
Requirements
* Relevant surveying qualification and/or experience.
* Experience with JCT/NEC contracts and ability to produce technical reports.
* Project management skills across repairs and planned maintenance.
* Member of RICS/CIOB desirable.
* Strong IT skills, including MS Office.
