Job Description
Maintenance Supervisor Location: Kent Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum depending on experience.
We are offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our client's team during a period of significant growth and development. This role is ideal for someone who can lead, coach and motivate a fast-paced engineering team while ensuring operational performance, equipment reliability and high standards of safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead and supervise the engineering team to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operation of all site equipment.
* Plan and oversee daily engineering workloads, including preventative and reactive maintenance activities.
* Ensure machinery, production equipment, and supporting systems are effectively set up, calibrated and maintained.
* Carry out hands-on engineering tasks as required, acting as both operator and maintainer when necessary.
* Monitor equipment performance, diagnose faults and implement timely solutions to minimise downtime.
* Drive improvements in equipment reliability and support achievement of OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) targets.
* Maintain accurate engineering records, maintenance logs, and compliance reports.
* Work collaboratively with production, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless operations.
* Support the introduction of new technology, processes, and equipment as the facility scales.
* Ensure engineering activities comply with all safety, environmental, and quality standards.
Essential Requirements
* Proven experience in an engineering supervisory or senior engineering role within manufacturing.
* Strong technical understanding of production machinery, packaging systems or relevant automation equipment.
* Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and process-related issues.
* Familiarity with OEE metrics, lean methodologies, and continuous improvement tools.
* Excellent organisational, leadership, and team-management skills.
* Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
* Foundational understanding of carbonated liquid processing or filling systems (advantageous in this environment).
Desirable Requirements
* Experience within beverage, bottling, or food manufacturing environments.
* Formal qualifications in engineering, manufacturing, or a related discipline.
