Job Opportunity:
We have an exciting opportunity to appoint a Pupil Support Manager due to the retirement of the current postholder. The main aspects of this role include:
1. Monitoring and tracking attendance, identifying causes for concern, and working with pupils, parents, and external agencies to promote regular attendance
2. Overseeing the coordination and administrative support of the Annual Review (EHCP) cycle, ensuring smooth scheduling and completion in line with statutory timelines
3. Collaborating with NHS colleagues and families to write and update individual Health Care Plans for pupils
4. Ensuring smooth transition procedures for new pupils joining The Beacon
The successful candidate will join our central services team and will need to build relationships with external agencies such as KPAS, Local Authority Virtual Schools Teams, Social Workers, NHS, and other external school colleagues. Within The Beacon community, you will build strong relationships with families, carers, class-based staff, and our Multi Agency Support Team.
This role would suit an experienced FLO, SENDCO Assistant, or Pastoral Support Assistant. It is integral to supporting our young people to thrive.
