Where will you be working?
MEICA and capital maintenance - Our Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control & Automation (MEICA) experts offer a one-stop solution, including ongoing operation and maintenance services.
What will you be doing?
* Delivering electrical installations and maintenance tasks.
* Work in compliance with industry, British, International, and customer standards.
* Read, understand, and interpret relevant drawings, schedules, and schematics.
* Order and collect the correct components for work activities.
* Advise management and clients on potential hazards.
* Test and inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components.
* Diagnose and solve malfunctioning systems using test equipment and hand tools.
* Produce detailed reports of work completed.
* Respond promptly to faults and rectify where possible.
Skills & Knowledge Requirements:
* Electrical testing, maintenance, and installation experience.
* Time served electrical apprenticeship or NVQ level 3 (Electrical discipline) trained or international equivalent.
* Strong IT skills, specifically with Microsoft Office packages.
* Ability to plan and coordinate effectively without supervision.
* Knowledge and experience of planned preventative and reactive maintenance.
* High attention to detail and degree of accuracy.
* Commercial/Industrial LV Electrical (<1000 VAC/<1500VDC) experience.
Additional Requirements:
* Excellent communication skills with both internal colleagues and external customers.
* Confident self-starter with sound judgement.
* Ability to work well within a team and independently as required.
* Full valid driving licence.
