SEN Teacher – Eastbourne, East Sussex
Pay: £120–£140 per day (dependent on experience)
Hours: 8:30am–3:30pm

Are you a dedicated SEN Teacher looking for flexible work in Eastbourne? Supply Desk is working closely with supportive primary and specialist settings across the area who are seeking skilled teachers to support pupils with Special Educational Needs.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced SEN specialist or a primary teacher with a strong interest in SEND who is looking to make a meaningful impact while maintaining flexibility.

The role will involve:
Planning and delivering tailored lessons to meet individual needs
Supporting pupils with a range of additional needs (including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and speech & language needs)
Creating an inclusive, nurturing classroom environment
Working closely with teaching assistants and SENCOs
Monitoring progress and adapting teaching strategies accordingly
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience working with children with Special Educational Needs
Strong behaviour management and differentiation skills
Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
