The Governors of Aberdare Community School are seeking to appoint a passionate and dynamic Teacher of Science to join a thriving science department.
The successful candidate will be an excellent classroom practitioner eager to enhance teaching and learning in science. This post represents an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and creative teacher to join an experienced, supportive and welcoming team who are passionate about science. It is essential that the successful candidate is confident in contributing ideas that will engage our learners as we introduce the new Curriculum for Wales. As such we are looking for a candidate who is a strong team member.
The school opened in the summer of 2015 and is part of the 21st Century school building programme. Our facilities include a modern teaching environment with state of the art computer and technology facilities, including a Lecture Theatre. The school is attached to the Sobell Leisure Centre which offers extensive opportunities for pupils, including an all-weather playing facility and newly opened athletics stadium.
