Who You Are We are seeking dedicated and experienced Qualified Social Workers to join our Family Safeguarding Service as Parenting Assessors and a Case Progression Officer. You will have substantial post-qualification experience and a passion for safeguarding children and supporting families. What the Job Involves Parenting Assessors (x3): You will undertake high-quality, evidence-based parenting assessments to inform safeguarding and permanence decisions without holding cases. You will produce analytical reports for court and care planning, adhere to statutory timescales, and support professional decision-making for children's welfare. Case Progression Officer (x1): In this role, you will drive the timely progression of pre-proceedings and care proceedings. You will ensure strong evidence and clear care planning, liaise effectively with legal services and partner agencies, and support high-quality assessments and outcomes for children. Skills Qualified Social Worker with 3 years post-qualification experience Strong analytical and report writing skills Excellent communication and liaison abilities Ability to work remotely (for Parenting Assessors) Experience in legal proceedings and care planning Office-based working required for Case Progression Officer
