Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias)
Location: Uttoxeter.
Working hours: Monday to Friday (days).
We are working with a growing manufacturing business based in Uttoxeter who are looking to add a Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias) to their team.

The Role
As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of production machinery through both reactive and planned maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across production machinery
* Respond to breakdowns and perform fault finding (electrical bias)
* Work on a range of manufacturing equipment and systems
* Support continuous improvement and reduce downtime
* Assist with installation and commissioning of new machinery
* Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety standards
About You
* Electrically biased Maintenance Engineer
* Experience within a manufacturing environment
* Strong fault‑finding and diagnostic skills
* Ideally qualified (NVQ / City & Guilds / Apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering)
* 18th Edition (or equivalent) electrical qualification
* Knowledge of PLCs would be advantageous
