The Role
Reporting to the Maintenance & Facilities Manager, As a Maintenance Engineer you would be part of the Facilities team carrying out planned and reactive maintenance to electrical services and to maintain the electrical standards and compliance across all sites. The right individual will be committed to working to a high standard with a desire to continue to maintain professional accreditations and carry out further training as required. A team player is a must. The maintenance engineer consistently promotes high team standards through personal example of the behaviours and values that Nuaire is committed to.

37 hours per week
Week 1 - 6:00-14:15 Mon - Thu, 6:00-11:00 Fri
Week 2 - 6:00-14:15 Mon - Thu, 6:00-11:00 Fri
Week 3 - 10:00 - 18:15 Mon - Thu, 10:00 - 15:00 Fri
Week 4 - 13:30 - 23:00 Mon - Thu, Off Friday
Week 5 - 20:30 - 06:00 Mon - Thu, plus on call over the weekend

Responsibilities
Specific Responsibilities
* Efficiently maintain and repair electrical plant and equipment
* To carry out diagnostic and fault finding
* Maintain, plan, preventive maintenance paperwork
* The ability to carry out installation tasks as when required
* Install new equipment and modify existing equipment.
* Conduct scheduled preventative maintenance for every equipment in respective facilities
* Present project oversight as identified by management and engineers
* To attend electrical breakdowns and fixing where possible
* Routinely inspecting electrical systems such as wiring, fixtures, and appliances
* Identifying faults or hazards and troubleshooting system failures
* A good understanding of general building services and the willingness to support the maintenance team.
* Required to complete Fire Alarm Testing and Emergency Light Testing
* Perform all multi-discipline activities
* Install new equipment and modify existing equipment.

Supervision
* The Maintenance Electrician is supervised by the Maintenance & Facilities Manager, however, generally works independently under established guidelines and with minimum supervision. The Maintenance Electrician may be required to exercises supervision of other mechanical personnel.

Requirements (Knowledge and Experience):
Essential:
* Experience working as a multi-skilled engineer with both Mechanical and Electrical knowledge
* Qualification in Engineering equivalent with NVQ/City and Guilds Level 3 or HNC/HND in either Electrical or Mechanical disciplines
* Experience of performing diagnostics/ fault finding and repairs
* Experience within a Manufacturing Environment is essential
* Understanding and ability to read engineering circuit schematics/ drawings
* Attention to detail
* Ability to offer flexibility
Desirable:
* Time served mechanical maintenance apprenticeship.
* Experience in hydraulics and pneumatics.
* Knowledge of welding and fabrication
* First aid and mental health first aid trained, although training will be provided
