Responsibilities as a Warehouse Operative:
Assisting with deliveries, including unloading and loading vehicles
Receiving and storing goods accurately in the correct warehouse locations
Preparing and loading customer orders in line with sales requirements
Signing for deliveries, reporting stock damages, and supporting stock checks
Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment
Carrying out daily checks on forklifts and other equipment
Promoting a strong health and safety culture at all times
Skills required as a Warehouse Operative:
A valid Forklift Licence is desirable
Good numeracy, data accuracy, and basic IT skills
Strong understanding of health and safety procedures
Previous warehouse or yard experience is advantageous
Flexible, reliable, and proactive approach to work
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
