The Opportunity
This isn't just a step up - it's a move into a role where you take full ownership of a night operation.
We're working with a major UK fleet operator who need a Workshop Supervisor to lead from the front, keep standards high, and ensure vehicles are turned around efficiently and safely.
If you've been a senior technician carrying responsibility without the title or the pay - this is where that changes.
The Role
* Lead and coordinate night shift workshop operations
* Allocate work across technicians based on priority and workload
* Ensure fleet availability and turnaround targets are consistently met
* Maintain high standards of quality, compliance, and health & safety
* Act as the first point of escalation for technical issues
* Monitor productivity and ensure work is completed to the required standard
What We're Looking For
* Background as a Senior HGV Technician or Workshop Supervisor
* Strong understanding of fleet maintenance and compliance (DVSA / O-Licence)
* Ability to lead a team, make decisions, and keep operations moving
* Confident dealing with technical challenges and prioritising workload
Why This Role
* Step into a leadership position within a stable, high-volume fleet operation
* Work in a structured environment where your decisions directly impact performance
* Clear progression pathway into senior operational or management roles
* Ex-military candidates (REME / vehicle mechanics) with leadership experience are strongly encouraged to apply
