Birmingham | 2+ PQE | Hybrid Working
£68,000 – £87,000
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Litigation Associate to join a large national practice in Birmingham.
You will join an entrepreneurial Birmingham office with a genuine drive to establish itself further in the market, whilst being fully supported by an established national firm recognised for its collaborative culture and excellent working environment.
This role offers the opportunity to work on a broad range of complex and high-value commercial disputes for a diverse client base, working closely with partners and colleagues across the firm’s wider national disputes practice.
The successful candidate will be a self-driven and ambitious individual looking to continue developing their own practice within a supportive and collegiate team environment. You will take responsibility for progressing matters, maintaining regular client contact, and producing technical content that reflects your expertise.
Responsibilities
* Advising clients on a broad range of commercial disputes including:
* Contractual disputes
* Shareholder and partnership disputes
* Professional negligence claims
* Business torts
* Managing matters from inception through to resolution
* Providing pre-action advice
* Drafting pleadings and handling disclosure
* Managing interim applications
* Preparing for trial and settlement negotiations
* Acting on Court litigation matters and alternative dispute resolution processes
* Building and maintaining strong client relationships
* Supporting business development initiatives and technical content creation
