Job Description:
Archer Resourcing have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Social Worker to join the Children and Families team in Bradford.
As a Children and Families Social Worker, you will be providing care and protection which responds to the needs of the young people and their families. You will be ensuring that individuals are adequately listened to and supported, in order to identify and work through any challenges with them that they may be facing.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Holding a caseload of children subject to Child Protection Plans
* Undertaking Child Protection Enquiries
* Undertaking Parenting Assessments
* Carrying out home visits for monitoring purposes / to promote the welfare of and safeguard the children
* Working with partnership agencies to support families further
* Producing Initial Child Protection Conference reports
* Initiating and implementing Child Protection plans
Requirements:
* Social Work Degree or equivalent
* Minimum 1+years’ experience as a Social Worker
* Have knowledge and experience of statutory frameworks; policy and procedure; and best practice
* Registration with Social Work England
