Master Data Manager
East Kilbride
Full-time Permanent
We are recruiting for a Master Data Manager to join our small team in our East Kilbride office. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the management and governance of master data across the organisation, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and integrity. This is a great opportunity to contribute to the success of our company by driving data excellence and supporting key business processes.
Main Responsibilities
* Develop and implement master data management strategies and policies.
* Oversee the creation, maintenance, and quality control of master data.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
* Monitor data quality metrics and implement corrective actions as needed.
* Lead data governance initiatives and ensure compliance with data standards.
* Provide training and support to data stewards and other stakeholders.
* Conduct regular audits and reviews of master data processes.
* Manage data integration and migration projects.
* Develop and maintain documentation related to master data management.
Key Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Computer Science, or a related field.
* Proven experience in master data management or a similar role.
* Strong understanding of data governance and data quality principles.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Proficiency in data management tools and software.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
* Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy and integrity.
* Experience with data integration and migration projects is desirable.
