Job Objective
* You will be part of our sales force and will work closely with our National Sales Manager and Technical Sales Engineers, who oversee the sale of products and services to our customers in the central region.
* You will be tasked to take Summit generated and your own generated leads from enquiry through to purchase order placements and remain in account management for the life cycle of all new and existing customers.
* Also, look for new business opportunities, including new markets, new clients, and new partnerships within an agreed area.
* Creating strategies to successfully reach new business opportunities.
* Building relationships with new customers, gauging their needs and developing proposals to address these needs.
* Maintaining and developing relationships with current customers
* Achieve company objectives by planning thoroughly, setting sales goals, analyzing performance data, and making forecasts
* Pitching sales and products to new and existing customers
* Attending conferences and events to build relationships with industry partners and staying up to date with new trends.
* Creating sales forecasts and actively working towards reaching them.
* Possessing a strong understanding of the company’s products, the competition in the industry and positioning.
* Collaborating with the Technical department and Sales teams to ensure that the requirements are met.

* Ability to travel at least 75% of the time
Qualifications
* Ten or more years of experience in managing capital equipment sales
* Proven ability to generate and convert your own sales leads
* Sales experience of technical products
* Experience with CRM Systems (Hubspot, Salesforce, Dynamics)
* Experience of quoting individual projects £100k+ (advantage)
Must have
* Full driving licence
* Monday to Friday working week, Fridays finish at 2.30pm.
